Question:
Anyone heard of Beneprotein?

This is one of the sources of protein my dietician recommends. It is a powder that is tasteless that you can add to just about anything, and I was wondering if any of you have heard of it or tried it. Also, does anyone know how I can get help sprucing up my profile page? — Shannon B. (posted on October 27, 2003)

I was also told to buy this product from GNC. The store I went to told me that they don't make this product. Please let me know if you find it, thanks.

I had never heard of it until now. I did a search on the Internet and found it at Walgreens.com. So, maybe they carry it in stores too. It was quite expensive, about $60.

Unjury carries an unflavored protein powder that you can add to anything. The website (www.unjury.com) offers recipes as well. I have tried it but I can still smell the protein but almost everyone I know that has tried it loves it. It is about $15 for a container. Hope this helps

I know that they do make this product. my mom runs a business, and she ordered some from sysco for me. I dont know how much she paid for it, but if you e-mail me, I can find out. I haven't had the chance to try it yet, because I am away at school, and wont be going hom until this weekend, but my mom told me it only has 6 grams of protein per scoop, which isnt much at all. but, if it really is totally tasteless, you can drink it all day in your water. :-) if you want to know how I like it, e-mail me after this weekend, and I will be glad to tell yoU!!!

They have it at walgreens.com. I'm sure if you have a store near you, they can order it for you. The price on the website was 60.00 for 6 8oz cans. Each can has 32 servings, 6 grams of protein each. It is Whey Protein Isolate and Soy Lecithin, so it would work for post-ops. If it is truly tasteless, I can see how adding it to a lot of things thruout the day could help boost the total protein, but it might get kinda expensive. You would need 10 scoops for 60 grams of protein, and thats a 3rd of the container right there. So one can will last approx. 3 days and the whole 6 cans will last about half a month. So $120.00 a month for protein. I'm not saying don't buy it, but there are more economical choices out there. I spend about $50 on two 2 pound jugs of ProScore100-chocolate (from Vitalady.com) and those last me about two months.
Anyway, here is the link to the walgreens site:
http://www.walgreens.com/store/product.jhtml?PRODID=374089&CATID=100672
