I am not a guac expert but I think it is really high in fat and would be carbs and no protein. Better check it out, especially if you are an early post-op. I don't watch fat as closely as carbs or protein but I do try and avoid things I know are really high in fat. Just don't want the GI trots.

excellent source of healthy fats - and we DO need some fats in our diets - as well as a good source of folate, a B vitamin that helps us create new red blood cells and wash out the old ones, reducing your risk of stroke. I know this because I'm folate deficient :>) and working on correcting it.

I was on a guacamole jag for a couple of months and what I did was added on top of protein and I loved it. I put it on top of cottage cheese or chicken and it was very yummy. I even added hot sauce to it. I do not count fat, I avoid carbs like the plague and I count protein and try to get 80-100+ grams per day. I also count calories and generally stay around 900 per day at 8 months out. Now I want some guacamole!
