Question:
Does Dr Champion transect?
Does Dr. Champion or his new partner transect the stomach when doing the LAP RNY? I really want to know and would appreciate hearing from either of these surgeons' patients. Thanks! — yourdivaness (posted on March 4, 2003)

Thank you for your input. I asked the question here because it is a Q&A
Forum. I didn't know that only certain people could ask certain type
questions. From what I've observed, everyone doesn't answer every single
question and neither does one question is of benefit to all. Many of the
questions that are asked on this site DO NOT particularly apply to me
either, when/if it doesn't apply, you simply pass the question and go to
another one. There are long term post ops that may know. I asked because
there may be another word used other than what I asked. I'm sorry too, but
you could have done the same, ignored the question and proceeded to the
next~most do with any question.

Original Poster here-Heartfelt Thanks to you and others for responding and
all that follow. I finally got a chance to speak w/my surgeon and found out
I am *transected*. I was told that there's no other way it would be done. I
would appreciate not being "flamed" for asking questions. When
you don't know, you ask questions, no matter who doesn't want to answer
it.. It just goes to show that you're just as human as I am and that no
question is silly or dumb...only the question that is not asked. Luv ya
anyway, and if no one else hears, I believe I'm looking better everyday!
That's positive thinking.

it!! NOT
