Question:
Has anyone else been referrred to Elmendorf?

Has anyone else been referred to Elmendorf AFB in Alaska? I was referred to a Dr. in Seattle, but had not luck reaching them to schedule anything...so....Tricare told me that my wait for an appointment was 8 mos. I had my surgery on 12/11/02 at Elmendorf, and I LOVE my doctor, and the rest of the team. I had to wait about a year and a half (part of that time the docs were deployed). We have monthly support group meetings, which are on the first Tuesday of the month, at 6pm, in the back of the dining hall. Part of your wait time will be going to the nutrition classes, and things like that. I bet you won't have to wait 8 months, though. :) Email me if you want more info. Take care, Diana
