Question:
Heard he is only a General Surgeon
Dr. Weber is only a general surgeon, does anyone feel that that affects the care? His assistant told me that he is very selective on the cases he takes, what have other experienced? I have not even gone to the presentation yet, but am scheduled for Dec 9th, and would like to hear what others are saying about him(please no flaming). I am coming from Ketchikan, AK on the Coast Guards dime. I am a dependent with Tricare Prime Remote. Anyone else with similar experiences/ coming from another location?? — Carol S. I had RNY with Dr. Weber. The sign on his office door says "Thoracic
Surgery." I know he's performed approximately 1,000 WLS procedures.
Email me and I'll be happy to tell you all about my experiences with Dr.
Weber.

Dr. Weber is a general surgeon. He does WLS and has a whole program for
patients and is fairly selective. The information session is helpful and
will give you an opportuntiy to learn more.
I would like to point out that there are more surgeons in the area.
Tricare just seems to always refer Weber.
I am going to email you (so watch for one) with some more info.
