I am post-op 02-27-02 and I have lost 147 pounds and 97 inches, I started
walking at about 1 month post-op and then about a month later I started
going back to the club here in town called Kurves for Females, I exercise 6
days a week and it makes me feel great I feel guilty if I miss a day, I
know it has helped tone up my body I still need a tt/boob job which is
going to be done in 3 weeks, but exercise does help!!!check out my
profile.I went from a tight size 26/28 in pants and 3x/4x tops to size 3/4
in jeans and small and medium tops and I haven't even had my tt/boob job
yet!!!

Friends had a fire. I helped do demolition at their home. We gutted it.
Worked over a month pulling down cielings, shoveling debris. Hard grueling
dirty work. Came home looking like a coal miner. This exercise helped me
loose the last 25 pounds and get to goal. It literally fell off me. When I
was nearly at goal and the loss had stopped.

You need to find what works for you. Some people walk. Some people
bicycle or use machines in their homes. Some people do tapes. Some people
go to the gym. The thing that is working for me is tapes. I do mine when
I get home from work before dinner. I use Leslie Sansone's WALK AWAY THE
POUNDS. I started out doing what I could on the 1 mile tape and finally I
finished it, walking the 1 mile. I set a minimum to do every day and vowed
to myself that I couldn't fix dinner until I had done it. Now I'm working
on the 2 mile tape and I'm up to 1.5 miles on that tape. As soon as I can
comfortably do the do mile tape, I'll graduate to the 3 mile tape. You've
just got to get into a routine and stick to it. Exercise is just like your
vitamins--essential to your life and your weight loss! So like the Nike
commercial says--JUST DO IT!
