Question:
Anyone in MICHIGAN whose had a sleep study for possible sleep apnea
I've called 2 sleep centers that are booked until Xmas week and was hoping others could toss out more centers for me to call. I live in the East Laning area of Michigan but will travel up to 3 hours to comete this, since I would like to get this test done before Thanksgiving only because holidays are stressful as it is and I can't imagine having this test mixed in with everything else LOL — E M. Definetely wait list all locations. Tell them if you will report at a
moments notice, and give them a cell number and keep it with YOU at all
times. People cancel at the last minute all the time, and a emppty bed is
lost inventory and a waste. Do be aware ou MIGHT end up at a non supportive
hospital like I did with a JERK for a pulmonary doc..,. He tried to scare
me and suggested I diet:( My wait list saved me a extra 3 month wait after
the doc refused to approve me...

I live in Westland, Michigan. I have my sleep studies done at Botsford
Hospital's sleep clinic in Farmington Hills. My Doctor is Dr. Rabinowitz.
It would only take you about an hours drive on I96 to get there. GOod Luck

I had mine done at Ingham Regional. There is also a sleep diagnostic
center in Okemos and of course Sparrow. Make sure to tell them that you
can accept a cancellation appointment. When I had to go for a follow up
visit (because I didn't sleep long enough the first time to use the
machine), the scheduler called me and asked if I could go in that night!
Good luck.
