Question:
How do you post comments and come in contacts with other people like me???

I've had some wonderful conversations started via e-mail just by posting on the surgery pages of others who are having surgery about the same time I am. There are wonderfully warm, caring people on this board who generally are extremely supportive--but will tell you the truth with love! You don't find that anywhere!

Hi Pam, find the page where they list which people are having surgery on particular dates. I went to the same date as my surgery and just contacted a dozen of those that had surgery the same day as me. Several answered and we have kept in touch for the past 6 months. Also, go to "Find Peers" and look under your State and city and find those who live near you-that helps as you can contact them and get to meet them in person. I have a few local friends like that too.
