Question:
Did anyone else have Dr Swanstrom...and now you have no dr?

I was all approved and waiting for a surgery date for the last 2 months..when I got a call yesterday on my machine telling me that Dr Swanstrom no longer does the surgery...great...I paid for all the tests...expensive ones..and I am mad cause I now have been told I can start over with Dr Patterson! I was set up to have surgery with Dr. Idle at BTC in Texas when after several phone calls to the scheduler I was notified of his departure. I was then told that the other surgeon on staff would conduct the operation but it would not be during the time I had scheduled off from work,care of my children, and care of myself was set up. After calling around I also found that I would have to once again start from scratch. The other doctors office did say that they could use the tests already preformed though but would have to resubmit approval from my insurance. I hope that some of this information helps you.
