Question:
Why can I suddenly NOT stop eating?
I'm nearly 18 months post-op, down from 304 lbs. to 178 lbs. But in the last couple of weeks, I feel like I'm never full, and that I can eat and eat and eat (like I used to do pre-op). Also, my acid reflux disappeared after surgery, and now I'm waking up every morning with that "sour" tast in my mouth. Other than those two things, I have no symptoms that would lead me to believe I've ruptured my staple line, or anything else. Does anyone have any thoughts/suggestions? You've named the top 2. I had no increase in volume, as I was already 5 yrs
out. But the acid. It had to come from somewhere, and my pouch sure wasn't
making it. Esp that MUCH of it. Although my doc & I agreed it was
"my turn", the EGD proved it to my ins company. LOL!
