Question:
Any data RNY w/silastic ring VS RNY w/o silastic ring

I know why some surgeons chose this surgery with a silastic ring. But I don't know why some surgeons object to using it. One surgeon said because he wasn't trained that way. There must be more to it???    — [Anonymous] (posted on March 3, 2002)

Hi, Its frustrating trying to find information on the Fobi ring, I know. Victoria Bowen on this site had the Fobi ring done and web site has good info on it. Also her surgeons web site has really good information on it. And I did a search on the entire AMOS site for "fobi" and read all the responses. I have done a lot of research on the ring if you want to email me with specific questions or just to talk. Bev
