Question:
I'm scheduled for a revision of my gastric bypass in February

I would like to hear from anyone that has had a gastric bypass revision. My surgeon says I'll be in intensive care for 2-3 day (to be on the safe side, and I like that!) and in the hospital 5-7 days. Also, has anyone had BC/BS Federal pay for the revision? I will be transected this time. I've got a staple line disruption, gaining weight pretty fast, that's why the revision is scheduled. I was revised from distal RNY 2 yrs ago today, actually. I am still distal RNY, but pouch is now transected (OK, resected). I didn't have the same ins, but someone is staying with me right now who has that ins and is recovering nicely from HER RNY to RNY revision.
