Question:
Weight gain in two months

At a recent visit to my family doctor, I found out I had gained 25 pounds in 2 months. Had an upper GI done and the results say "small communication between the pouch and remainder of stomach". Does this mean I have a staple line disruption? I have an appointment with surgeon soon but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem! I'd been doing terrific until 2 months ago when I had a violent attack of vomiting due to a virus. HELP!    — VickyTaylor (posted on December 27, 2001)
