Question:
Pregnancy after WLS.

Has anyone ever become pregnant in the first year after weight loss surgery? It was confirmed today that I am 2 months pregnant, and it has only been 5 months since my surgery. I am excited, but I am also very scared. I have been scheduled with a high risk doctor, but just want to know if anyone else has gone thru this.    — Elizabeth B. (posted on October 8, 2001)

I know how you feel and I want to know an answer to this question also. I am 4 months post op VGB and I am 6 weeks pregnant. I spoke with the surgeon about what to expect or can it be harmful and they told me thatI would have to be the most concerned about my nutrition. I want to know how the ring will affect me vomiting? I usually have TERRIBLE morning sickness.
