Question:
I can't seem to crack the 160# mark! I keep trying to get below 160 and am stuck.
This weight has been maintained for the past 12 weeks. I've done what I was supposed to to as far as eating properly and taking my supplements but recently had fainting spells due to anemia. Also, noticed heart palpatations of late. I am really concerned since I am 14mos out and should be well at my goal of 145# - currently 162.5 +/- given the day. My BMI is 27 and I wear sz 12/14 even some tens. My stools are also very black since my fainting spell and that is also an unusual occurance. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. — Tracy D. Tracy,
It sounds to me like you might have a lower GI bleed. Have you been to
your doctor? If you haven't, you really need to be checked out. Black
stools and a low hemoglobin with fainting spells need to be addressed. You
may even need a blood transfusion.
As far as your weight goes, maybe it's your body's way of telling you that
it is comfortable where it is. I think we all have a "set point"
as far as weight goes.
But please, go see your physician or go to the ER ASAP.

Black stools are usually an indication of old blood, and that you are
bleeding some where. Call your doctor or go to the ER immediatley.
