Question:
what happens after you visit the surgeon and surgery is approved

Each doctor is different so you'll probably get many different answers,
unless you target the people who have had the same Dr as you have. For me
after approval, then we got to see the surgeon, then made a surgery date
that day. Congrats and Good Luck!

Julie, I can't believe how differently the procedures are..so everyone is
different. For me, I met with the surgeon, nutritionist, psych, &
another dr before a letter was submitted to insurance. I had all the
necessary tests done prior (sleep test, blood work, etc...) also. Once the
surgeon submitted the letter of recommendation to the insurance co. I was
approved within 3 days.
That was the beginning of this month (Feb). They JUST called to give me a
date (4/16).
I would call and leave a message for the person(s) who do the surgical
scheduling that you are waiting for a date.
