Question:
Has anyone had open RNY by Dr. Neil Marymor?
I'm waiting for insurance approval to have open RNY at BTC in Pennsylvania. I was just wondering if anyone has had this done by Dr. Marymor and if so any advice you can give me. I'm both extremely nervous and excited all at once. Thanks! — Rebekah A. (posted on July 11, 2002)

Both myself ( January 11 2002 ) and my husband ( May 2 2002 ) had him do
our RNY. He is a wonderful man, very caring and very honest. We are sorry
to see him leave us.
He will take good care of you. If you need anything else email me.

Dr. Marymor is a wonderful surgeon. I highly recommend him. My open rny
took only about 45 minutes and the short time in the operating room is a
big plus. I think Dr. M was in MI about 2 years. He is returning to his
home in Penn. to work at the new BTC there. Michigan's loss!

I had Dr. Marymoor do my surgery in Michigan in December 2000. He is a
wonderful doctor with an excellent bedside manners. I would HIGHLY
recomend him. I am sorry he moved to PA. It is definitely Michigan's loss.

Hi,
My friend had Dr. Marymor 6/21/02 for her surgery and he did an excellent
job. After the surgery she had problems with her heart beat, they could not
get it elevated or to the point of normal, Dr. Marymor spent the WHOLE
NIGHT in her room keeping a close eye on her. I don't think many surgeons
would do that. You are an good hands, Michigan is losing an excellent,
caring surgeon. Best of luck to you!
