Question:
New onset of nausea-anyone else gone through this
I am almost 2 years post op open RNY-have had basically no problems since day of surgery-have lost 135lbs and felt wonderful until the last week or so. Almost every time I eat I feel "queasy, nauseaus, sweaty" and basically miserable. Not eating anything different-no pain-no vomiting-really beginning to become concerned. Called my surgeon today and was told it's unlikely this is related to my surgery after 2 years. Have an appt with my PCP Friday but was hoping maybe someone here could shed some light on what may be going on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks-Norma — Norma N. Have you checked your blood sugar levels. It is possible that your levels
are whacking out. Also, could be a dumping syndrome. I have found that
foods I have tolerated in the past now make me dump at times...weird, but
true. Another thought, when I had ulcers I had those symtoms also. Hope
you get down to the bottom of it...Tracey
