Question:
Will I have to wait, even though the Co. changed?

Hey Gang. As I'm sure you ALL know, hehe!, our company is changing insurance agencies in two days. From Pacific Care to Blue Cross (I've elected the PPO). I was wondering if anyone who made the change was restricted by a pre-existing condition and will have to wait additional time. The reason I am asking is I am goign to be applying to a college soon and am considering shooting for 2003, if i need to wait, it'll be pushed back until 2004. Please help!!    — Heather H. Usually, if you are changing insurance companies, but are in the same job, the pre-existing condition clauses don't apply. Ask your HR department.
