Question:
Has anyone experienced a better time of day to eat?
I've have tried to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can't seem to keep food down at those times so I go back to Slim Fast, juice and Crystal Light. It seems the only time that my body will tolerate food is late at night. Has anyone else experienced this type of thing? — Jennifer H. (posted on October 14, 2001)

Hey Jen, I checked your date and am wondering what your eating at 3 weeks
post op? You may want to check the foods for sugar. I see that you're
drinking juice and Slim Fast, both of which, contain sugar (not sure how
much slim fast has though). That could cause you to be ill. Anyway, since
you are still pretty new at this, it's going to take a while for your body
to adjust. I found out that drinking the majority of my 64oz of water was
much easier to do in the morning than towards the end of the day. I also
find that I can eat more at night but try to keep that to a minimum. It's
great that you're paying close attention to your body's signals (how can
you not? ha ha). That will help you later on as you see what triggers your
eating and weight loss. Just keep trudging on! Good luck and God Bless!

Hi - I CANNOT eat breakfast. I tolerate food best a lunch time. When I
eat at lunch, it stays with me for a long time and then when it comes
dinner time, I just don't want to eat much. Maybe you can eat late because
you are more relaxed? Be careful with what you are eating at 3 weeks post
op as well. Good luck.
