Yes I waited and waited for kaiser to approve my WLS. I was finally
approved after 9 months. And now my surgery is 1 week from today, but they
are sending me to San Diego for the sugery. I know it's hard to wait but
your time will come. Keep calling Marina at the committee for updates.

I too am waiting to hear from Kaiser of Northern Ca. I started
the process in May, as of three weeks ago my paperwork was
submitted to the committee for approval. I was told that it
can take anywhere from three weeks to three months for an approval.
I am patiently waiting and waiting for an approval. I pray
that I hear an answer soon, due to back pain, knee pain and
hip pain. However I know that all my hard work will pay
off. Also, I am very grateful for my PCP's efforts, she
was eager to help me, and got the ball rolling. Continue
to stay postive and know that in the end...you will have this
surgery!!! I wish you continued success on your journey.
