Is it possible to have WLS with a BMI of 33.3?

When I first went to the surgeon my BMI was 33.6.And that was wearing extra
clothing to make my weight higher!! But.... I was terminally ill from my
co-morbidities. My surgeon didn't even mention my weight. 3 Months before
that, I weighed 40# more. But due to a hospital stay for 3 weeks on clear
liquids, and hyper-alimentation, the weight fell off. I was so scared that
I was loosing my WLS criteria, But, I'm almost 1 year post-op now. With a
BMI of 19. And I am cured of the co-morbidities that were stealing my life
from me. Good luck to who ever you asked that question for, and Good luck
to you on your upcoming surgery --
