Just a note...

My prayers are with Lou's family, as well as with everyone facing this surgery. Bob, I know this must have been especially hard on you having to be the one to report back and forth and knowing your surgery was just around the corner. My heart goes out to you..All of us pre-ops are scared, I'm terrified (we would all be fools not to be scared) My surgery is next week, and my mind has constantly gone over any possible scenarios, however, what it all boils down to is this.. I know this surgery is my only option, my co-morbidity's are as such that this is my only salvation. I'm prepared for want ever happens, my house is in order so to speak. Once I made the decision I asked my family not to discuss it again. I have covered all the "what-if" now it's time for me to sike myself up for the long haul and go for the gold.
