Question:
Any Members with example of PCP referral letters?

I have a scheduled appointment with my primary care physician in a week. Although I have supplied him with all the materials I could gather up off the net and this absolutely wonder and informative site on Open RNY. I was wondering if any of the members had examples or copies of letters to the insurance companies from your PCP concerning the referral to a Obesity Surgeon. I would love to pass on these examples to my doctor so he will have an idea of the protocol that works for obtaining approval. He's a small town country doctor with heart of gold that truly knows this is my salvation ands chance at life. Thanking you in advance for any assistance.    — Victoria B.
