Question:
Nudity.. Areyou happy with the way you look post op?
IS ANYONE HERE HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY LOOK NAKED???? I BOUGHT TWO NEW BIKINI'S FOR NEXT SUMMER AND WANT TO BE ABLE TO FEEL GOOD ABOUT MYSELF (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF MY SCAR). I WILL NOT BE HAVING A TT BECAUSE I AM FIRMING UP NICELY. I AM 4 MONTHS AND 1 WEEK POST OP AND DOWN 57LBS. THANKS!!! — TP (posted on December 17, 2002)

No, I still am not happy about the way my BODY looks at 13 months post op.
I feel like I am just a smaller version of the bigger me. I do feel alot
healthier tho and feel grateful that I'm not lugging and extra 107 lbs.
around. I have chicken neck, and an "apron" and do not plan on
having a tummy tuck to get rid of it. I plan on exercising it
away....which I am doing. A bikini? Forget it. I wouldn't wear one, but
hey, if that's your goal and you're young and firming up nicely, I say go
for it. It's your journey, your ride. Do what makes YOU happy. I did my
surgery for my health. Peace.

I am very happy with the way I look naked. I even bought my first thong.
I am below goal and I have no sagging skin. I have been taking Real Meals
everyday since I was a couple of weeks post op. It has lean mass
stimulators in it to help prevent the sagging. It worked great for me.

A bikini. Feeling a bit brave!!! I have so much saggy skin that there is
no way. <lol> I can't stand to look at myself in the mirror, but I
did this for health not appearance reasons. So I'm content. I wish you
the best of luck though. Leigh

HA! HA HA HA! Oh my god, that's hilarious. My sagging skin actually
frightens me. You should see the view I have when I bend over to
moisturize my legs after a shower. Whoa, that's enough to keep me in
check. I have lost 150 pounds, fit in a 12, look amazing when dressed, but
I wouldn't wear a bikini for a million dollars. NOW, that said - some
people have good non-sagging skin. You may be one of the lucky ones. And to
answer your question: Do I feel good about myself? Regardless of what my
skin looks like I feel a thousand times better about myself than I did this
time last year. Best Wishes and Congrats on your success!

Happy with my body??!!!! Are you kidding me??!! I will have to say I'm
happier since the tt. It's made a HUGE difference in my self esteem. When
I finish my arms in April, I'll feel MUCH better about them. I still need
to have my inner thighs done plus I'd like to have my private area reduced
but those will probably have to wait until I can save up for them. When my
arms are done, I will feel about 80% good about my body as long as people
can't see all the sagging skin on my inner thighs!!!

How you look will depend on heredity, how long you've been MO, and your
age. At 41 years old and -140 pounds, I look like a big baggy mess and
will be going under the knife next month.

I'm very happy with my body-even naked. I'm down from a 26-28 to a size 12.
I was very fortunate that I don't have the saggy skin thing and didn't need
a TT. I personally wouldn't wear a Bikini but I never did when I was thin
either! How you feel about your body is a personal self esteem thing-How do
you feel about yourself? If it's great than put those bikini's on and go
for it!Best wishes and continued success

Except for the excess in the thighs and a little belly, I am always looking
in the mirror.

Hi there thought I would post, Am I happy with my body?
If I had to stay this size 14 or go back to the size 28-30 I once was, I
would live with my body, I love my arms, I've been working really hard to
avoid bat wings and am lucky to say just little baby ones here... The tummy
it's firming up, but that's where most of the weight was.
I was contemplating a TT in the next year or so depending on how everything
either leaves or drops my body..
But you could say yes, I'm happy with my body, it's not perfect, but it
looks so much better then when it was super mo, I used to run past the
mirror and try avoid it when I was naked.... Now I'm out paying for a tan !
and tanning it regularly, The tanning helps, make me look better....
Now I fully enjoy looking at my body in the mirror...
Me I'm post op 7 months down 103 pounds.
P.s. I'll be posting my centruy club photo (full lenghth) soon... digital
camera's still in the shop...
