Question:
Did anyone get nauseous after your G-tube was....

removed. Mine was removed on Fri. after being in a month (due to complications) and since it has been gone I get terribly nauseous during the night. Also, why am I sweating upon little or no excertion?    — TP (posted on September 9, 2002)

The g-tube was probably helping ot control gastric acid. Ask your doc for something like a pepcid or protonix. That helped me post op. As far as sweaty on exertion, this could be due to your circulating hormones, or...if one of your complications were pneumonia, it could be your lungs trying ot get ove that still.
