Question:
What should be a limit for fat content on protein drinks
New post op here---I have noticed that some of the protein srinks are "loaded" with fat calories... what is the guide for shoosing a good, nutritional drink without overloading with fat and defeating your purpose? — Linda L. (posted on July 30, 2002)

Linda, Some people are told not to worry about the calories/fat grams, just
to make sure they get in their protein. Others, on the other hand, are
told to be very cautious about it. Bear in mind that it is calories that
adds up to pounds. Most protein drinks are not going to have a super
overkill in fat grams. Keep track of your calories ,if you wish, but don't
make yourself crazy worrying about them. Get in your necessary nutrients
(protein, carbs, vitamins, iron, calcium), drink plenty of water, and just
cut back on other fats by choosing lean meats, low fat milk, etc. You will
do just fine!!! {{HUGS}}

Which drinks are you looking at? The ones I use are 2-3g fat per 30g of
protein.....? I don't add milk or juice or anything just water.
