What % of weight is expected to come off within the first 18 months?

I've heard different figures, but they are normally saying between 65-85%
of your excess weight. I have lost 76% at 12 months out and hope to lose
85% by 18 months.

I've lost 77% and really need to work to take off another 8 pounds that I
feel I want for maximum results. Everyone is different.

I think your weight loss depends you how good you use your new tool and the
surgery that you have. I had a very distal RNY and I have lost 100% of my
excess weight. I have lost 332 pounds in 19 months and I am 2 pounds from
goal. I started at 469 and am down to 137. I hope this helps. Your

At 9.5 months post op I have lost 84% of my excess weight (and 40% of my
total weight). I am really really hoping to get to 100%. With another 8.5
months left in the traditional 'window' I'm really hoping to lose another
30 pounds. Best wishes to us all!
