Question:
Physician's Assistant says it will be tough to reach goal.

At 4 months post op, I have lost 67 lbs. Starting BMI was 43. I thought I was doing ok, but at my check-up, the PA told me I would have a tough time reaching my goal of 150. I am 5 ft. 8. I had LAP RNY on 9/21/01. I am 23 years old. Anyone out there that can give me some encouragement? I would be happy at 160 or 165 cuz I know I will be getting a breast reduction and tummy tuck, so that will put me around where I want to be. Help!    — Melissa B. (posted on January 23, 2002)

Melissa, Please don't listen to this person. Anything is possible. I started at the same BMI as you and lost every pound I needed to. Don't let anyone discourage you because plenty of us have lost every pound we wanted to. good luck
