Question:
Exclusion or not?

This is what my policy states. "Care or treatment for weight control, or disibility resulting from any form of weight control, or removal of weight or fat whether by diet, injection or surgery of any kind. Thats what it says. Think that I have a chance???    — Dina L. (posted on December 5, 2001)

I am sorry to say but it doesn't sound good. The only thing I can suggest is that maybe you still apply and if they reject you you can appeal. Good Luck insurance can be a real pain in the A$$.

In my experience, most policies say that. If you can prove that your weight is causing other medical conditions then you will probably not have any problem. Have you contacted a surgeon yet? Usually the surgeons office handles all of the "getting approved" stuff.
