Question:
Has anyone in SC ever been through the SC vocational rehab. comm?

No SC Department of VR doesnot pay for the surgury. In fact when i asked them for help they denied me any assistance because they said I have to many disabilities that I need to take care of before they can help me. I thought their whole reason to exist as a agency was to help those with disabilities to stay off of SSI. They told me this but cannot give it to me in writing. Kind of suspicious if you ask me. They told me to get on Medicare and ssi But could not help me do that. Funny the Medicare lady told me that i am a catch 22 situation because i work. My job is a measly seasonal job that dosent offer any benifits. I also tried to contact their Client assistance program they were useless also with their only advice was to drop out of life and move to a transitional womens halfway house and see if i could get assistance there.
