Does anyone know when the KAISER Obesity Review Committee will meet again?

I recevied a letter from the Obesity Review Committee on July 21, 2000 stating that they have received my information and they will be notifying me shortly. My paperwork was submitted to the Modesto, CA KAISER on June 6, 2000 and it has taken them this long to respond to me. I called my PCP and he received a letter from the Committee stating it would take from 3 weeks to 3 months to make a decision. The wait is killing me! I started this whole Surgery process in February 2000 and it seems neverending. I called the KAISER in Oakland, CA and nobody seems to know about the Obesity Review Committee, even though I received the letter from their location. The Modesto, CA KAISER claims they don't know how long it will take. All I want to know is when they will meet.    — April D. (posted on August 4, 2000)
