Question:
Biotin???

Does anyone know what the recommended amount of Biotin should be used for hair loss? I am losing a lot of hair and I am 10 months Post-op. I am afraid of going bald, even though I know everyone says I will not. I need some help please. Thank you.    — stormwarrior (posted on March 8, 2005)

I do not know the amount of Biotin should be in your shampoo, but my hairdresser also had WLS and she recommended to be Biolage shampoo and detangler, and it has been great. I am now 19 months post-op and when I started using the Biolage shampoo at 3 months post-op, the hair loss slowed down or stopped. You can find it at Walmart, or most hair cutting places like cost cutters. The bottles are large, so it last a very long time. It has the Biotin in it.
