Question:
I have to write the letter for me doctor. What do I say?

My doctor is willing to sign the letter and provide the necessary documentation, but she does not have a secretary and needs me to write it and we will print it at her office. I have no idea how to write a professional letter from a doctor.    — Lynore L. (posted on January 16, 2004)

What's it for? Is it a referral for WLS, an insurance coverage claim, an appeal, or a letter proving medical necessity for the insurance company? I'll be glad to help!

I'll send you a copy of mine, it was short and to the point, but she didn't mess around with words. My Midwife (my Primary Care Physician) said that if I didn't take care of my weight, it would kill me..in so many words. You can add or subtract from what I and others I'm sure will give you.
