Question:
Tommorrow is my first consult with the surgeon, Dr. Richards in Vanderbilt

I am so excited and nervous at the same time. I have my list of questions, but I was wondering if you wonderful people could let me know what to expect. Is it a physical type of appointment or does he ask questions or both? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much, I just want to say you all are teriffic!!!!    — Lizette A. My surgeon and I only talked! We were in a little tiny room (more like a closet) with a desk and chair. We discussed the procedure, risks, complications, but no physical exam. A nurse took my vitals and thats it. I was kind of worried about that but I am going to see him one more time before my surgery so maybe he will do his physical then...

Dr. Richards did my surgery on July 16,03. On the day of my appointment two young doctors came in first and ask me a few questions and looked at my stomach to check my c-section scar. Then they went over the surgery with me. Then Dr. Richards came in and ask me if I had any questions and that was it. Dr.Richards is not a very talkative person. He is all business.
