Question:
SURGERY WAS SET FOR APRIL 2. AND CANCELED DUE TO INFECTED LIVER

I AM SO DISAPPOINTED MY SURGERY WAS CANCELLED. I HAD A TERRIBLE FLU FOR THE LAST 10 DAYS. MIGRANDE HEADACHES. HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO EAT. AT FIRST I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST NERVES. IT ENDED UP BEING THAT MY LIVER WAS INFECTED AND MY WHITE BLOOD CELL COUNT WAS TOO HIGH. MY DR IS DOING A CAT SCAN ON ME FRIDAY TO SEE WHAT THE HEADACHES ARE FOR..ITS SO FUNNY, CAUSE JUST 10 DAYS AGAO, MY LABS WHERE PERFECT THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN.....EVERYTHING IS GONE WRONG. Hi Christina, I had my surgery pused off because my surgeon is going to be out of town. So all though I am not having medical problems I can totaly relate to your disapointment. hang in there and try to remember that it is going to happen just not as soon as you had hoped. Best wishes.

I am sure that your must be crushed and I am sorry! I hope that you are feeling better soon and that you can be quickly & easily rescheduled for surgery. Best wishes in your process.

christina, while this never happened to me, i just wanted to respond to this and tell you that im so sorry and i know you must feel crushed, i know thats how i would have felt but i want you to look at it as everything happens for a reason and when it should. its actually a good thing these things happened before you had your surgery instead of "during" or "right after" it may have been very hard on you for recovery.on some cosmic level just know that things happened as they should have for your benefit. youll get better and youll have wls and be on your way to the new you when the time is right and all will fall into place as planned! :) hang in there sweety! best of luck to you! :)
