Question:
Has anyone ever been approved by PHN?

I have been denied by PHN. Based on member comments on this website, I am discouraged that they ever approve this surgery on appeal when it is not a covered service under your insurance plan. Any info or hope you can offer would be helpful.    — Nicky D. (posted on September 16, 2002)

PHN stinks......I have been denied 3 times and that Karen in appeals is a real GEM.......I have to say I know noone with PHN that has been approved. sorry

PHN is terrible. They only provide the LOWEST amount of coverage legally possible. They'd rather pay for your knee replacement, heart surgery, and diabetic needs for the rest of your life, then pay for one surgery that may correct all of that. I have only heard of two women getting the surgery covered by PHN, and they WORKED for them!!! How unfair is that??
