Hi Angela, I am in Houston and I don'thave a answer to the first part of your question but I can refer you to a web sites. Tuckthattummy.com They have b4 and after photos of people that have had tt. Look at case number 128. She is AA and her tt looks great. It mad a tremendous difference. As far as scars go some people keloid worse than others. But if you research, you will find a few things you can do to minimize keloids. One thing I hear is using tape and Retin A. Hope this helps.
