Question:
new to seattle, need pcp (cigna ppo)
I am new to seattle, and am working on tetting my prelims done to have the wls, but i need a pcp that is part of CIGNA PPO, and a recommendation for a surgeon. I have heard Dr. Fox in Tacoma is great, as well as Dr Oh and Dr Weber. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks — zena X. (posted on July 17, 2002)

Are you in actual Seattle or outlying? I can recommend a couple furhter
south. My docs were Fox & Oh and I'm very happy with my result &
treatment. Still at goal wt & in good health at 8 yrs postie.

Dr Thirlby in Seattle is great, and I know people who have had great
results with him. He does the surgery at Virginia Mason. Also, there is Dr
Brandt, Dr Bock, Dr Oelshlager(spelling?) who are all in Seattle and have
good reputations. Hope this helps.

Three weeks ago yesterday I had RNY Lap at U of W hospital. My doctor is
Brant Oelschlager. He is an excellent surgeon and I really wanted to have
a Lap rather than Open. I'm back at work and feeling a little weak but
fine. I had no complications. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
