I actually have two questions

I have two questions, the first is has anyone had lap RNY with Dr. Forse at Boston Medical? My second question/concern is will I be able to go back to a desk job two weeks after having a lap RNY?    — Sandra D. (posted on May 29, 2002)

1) I don't know who Dr. Forse at Boston Medical is, sorry. As for back to work at a desk job two weeks after your lap RNY - I've heard of it being done. I tried to go back after two weeks but I felt like I was pushing it a bit. I believe it all depends on the individual and how quickly you heal or if there are complications. My cousin had it in October of 2001 and was out of the hospital the very next day and back to work easily by her 2-week mark. Good luck to you. :)

Can't answer the question about the doc either. But I had OPEN RNY and went back to work after 12 days.
