I need a run down on the differnt kinds of surgeries and their pros and cons

I still don't understand which surgery that I will be needing. Can you please describe the surgeries and their pros and cons? I have just written a letter for my P.A. to sign and I have to have a kind of surgery on there to send to the insurance company.    — angela D. (posted on May 18, 2002)

I think that most insurance companys call it biartic surgery. mine sent me a checklist for qualification purposes.Any ways laproscopic procedure for gastric bypass surgery is proberly the best one because it is done with scopes and camera almost robtic surgery. Ive seen it and it leaves very little scars. But if your much older they will proberly do open surgery which leave a huge surgery scar and you willtake longer to heal. 6 to 8 weeks before you can go back to work.
