Question:
So you put your postings in as they happen or......
Do you write on your postings as they happen or do you keep a journal and then put them in? I am very much pre-op but I would like to post things as I think of them. Kind of like my own journal for everybody else to see. — angela D. (posted on April 26, 2002)

If you are talking about the profile, I use it like a journal. I think they
are a GREAT resource for pre-ops to really see what others have gone
through. I have talked about pretty much every issue I've faced since
starting my journey- good and bad. Plus it's a nice thing for me to look
back at and see how far I've come in such a short amount of time. Good Luck
to you. :)

I use my profile as a journal to post whenever I experience or think of
about something related to WLS. It has proven to be a valuable resource for
many pre-ops. I receive emails weekly regarding my journaling. It helps me
to sort out the things I'm going through and helps others to know what to
expect and hopefully give encouragement.

I keep both a profile here on AMOS as well as copy the same thing to
another journal (just in case one may get lost) as well as a list of my
measurements pre-op (the day of my surgery) and every month on my
anniversary date. I also keep in my profiles photos that are taken every
month (I want to see the change). Tina Torrey, Spanaway, WA 08/28/01

Many people use the AMOS journal as a regular diary, but I didn't want to
take up too much room with my every day concerns. Many people end up
having to make multiple profiles here because they run out of room. So I
started a diary on www.diaryland.com, where you take take up as much room
as you want. You can also then put the link on your profile or web site.
