Hotels, activities near BTC in Wylie, TX

My husband, two-year old son and parents will all be with me in Wylie. I know there isn't much there, but I would really like some suggestions on nearby hotels. My husband will need a new, clean hotel room to let my son run around!    — jm3218 (posted on February 18, 2002)

My surgery is in Wylie on March 6th, but I live only 45 minutes away. However, I was told that Plano would be the closest area with hotel accommodations.
