Hi--I am a patient of Dr. Forse and he does not do the lap procedure at
this time. I had surgery 15 months ago, but a friend had it 6 weeks ago
and it was open. However, I have to say that I am extremely pleased with
my choice in surgeons. He has been doing this surgery for almost 20 years
and in fact trained many of the doctor's that are more well known for
bariatric surgery in the Boston area. He is extremely competent and very
caring. I couldn't be happier. His philosophy is a little bit different
than most. He follows his patients closely. I have been seeing him almost
monthly for the past15 months because he wants to watch closely until you
stabelize. He also doesn't put all kinds of pressure on his patients. He
doesn't believe in them focusing on the numbers to much and obsessing over
the weight loss. This surgery is to make us healthier and I just allow him
to watch my weight and worry about me. It is quite relieving. Anyway, I
believe this philosophy of his and the way he runs his practice is what has
allowed me to be so successful. His office staff, nurses and nutrionist
are all fantastic too. LEt me know if I can be of any help. Read my
profile and visit my personal web site at

own personal experience with Dr. Forse. Good luck,
