Funny you should ask that. I'm always running back and forth to the
microwave to heat up my food. Maybe an electric baby dish would do the
trick.

Go to Penney's or Sears (or any big department store) and in the baby
department you will be able to find a "Baby Food Warmer Dish".
They are in the shape of a flat bowl and usually have compartments divided
out. I have been able to find electrical ones that you plug in ahead of
time and then they stay warm for the duration of the meal and I have also
found ones that you put hot water in the bottom of the dish which keeps the
food warm. They work really great and since they are small to begin with,
they keep the serving sizes right where they should be for this stage of
the game... Good luck!!!!

I have the most wonderful gizmo for keeping food warm. It was a gift and I
am not sure what they are called, but I think you can get them at Wal-Mart.
I think mine came from QVC though, because my friend who gave it to me
shops heavily at QVC. Anyway, it is a manufactured stone like material,
surrounded by plastic that stays cool, and you put it in the microwave for
3 to 5 minutes to heat it up. It stays warm for up to 30 or 40 minutes. I
will call my friend and see if she rememmbers the name of the product and I
will post it's name and where she got here as soon as I can. I love mine
and used it for keeping food warm on the table before I had sugery and it
has come in even handier since surgery.

For keeping your food warm while you are eating there is a microwavable
plate warmer called a Stonewave. They come in various sizes. Originally,
ShopKo carried them and this was about 3 years ago. More recently you may
be able to find them at Dollar General, Big Lots or any of the deep
discount stores or flea markets. They were advertized on TV pretty heavily
3 years ago, but since then they have become pretty rare. I tried finding
a web link or site for them and nothing. I will keep looking though, as I
would like to get another one. But, they work great, are easy to keep
clean and they won\'t burn you.
