Question:
Has anyone ever had small Intestine blockage?

I'm a 41 yr old woman who has RNY Lap 5 weeks ago. I can only drink water and milk. Anytime I have tried food, it makes me vomit. I'll vomit 10 or 15 times until the piece of food comes bak up. It hurts and feels like my head is going to pop, because there's no oxegen getting to my brain. When the piece of food comes up it is larger than a eraser head from a pencil. 3 times this has happend and 3 times I have complained to my doctor. She just says that i have to chew more. But I only ate 1 sliver of chicken. I think that my small intestine, is to small and I will never be able to he food again. Help, please. Dana    — Dana V. (posted on August 9, 2001)

i had a small intestine blockage at ten days post op. i couldn't even keep down water. i had severe, i mean severe cramping. after about a day, i was throwing up constantly every three minutes. it hurts alot and you know something is very wrong.
