Question:
Does the African American women also have the hair loss problem?

I had the lap gastric bypass surgery 15 months ago and I did experience hair loss(shedding not clumps) around the 6 month mark. My hair is not as full as it used to be but I make sure that I deep condition it regularly. My stylist just started using a product called Ninoxin. I can tell you it seems to be getting healthier, but maybe because I look so good now because of the weight loss, I don't really notice my hair!!:)

Yes we do lose hair. Some more than others. I am 11months out and my hair has thinned a bit. Small price to pay. I usually wear my hair in braids. or weaved to give it that full look.
