Has anyone had any luck in getting approval with United Healthcare Choice plan in KY?

Hi , I am working to help someone now with an appeal. They have an "iron clad" exclusion. I do know that they have had some approvals but I think most of them are denied and you have to go through the process of fighting with the Insurance Co. Your employer can be of some assistance becuase they are the ones who designed the policy if you want to involve them. This lady has several co-morbidies and has a BMI of 59. We are on our third appeal. Look up, here in the data base under insurance companies. I am almost sure I have seen an approval or two with them and contact that person. Good Luck...Trina
