Dear Tammy,

What do your main meals consist of? I know I can not tolerate
meat, except seafood. So my "meals" are usually whatever
side dishes my family is having. Maybe beans and a vegie, or
a salad with mashed potatoes and gravy. I don't partake of
too many main dishes anymore.

You could be eating too fast or too much. It feels fine going down, then
after it sets for a short time, you start to get that "sick"
feeling. I have done this numerous times. My husband is the one who tries
to keep me in line with how fast/much I eat. And he really seems to pay
attention when I don't. I think he hates me getting sick just about as much
as I hate getting sick. So, just slow down and watch your amounts. Don't
let yourself get too hungry or you'll tend to go outside of your limits.
Good luck.

You didn't provide much information, but it sounds like you may be eating
your meals to fast, not chewing well enough (some find they get nervous
eating around others at first and tend to eat too fast) or perhaps you're
eating a little too much. Are you throwing up phlegm or food?
