Question:
Are there any Dr.'s in Canada who do the Fobi Pouch?
I have had a vertical banded gastroplasty done in 1985 and reversed in 1994 due to severe reflux problems. I have gained 150lbs and feel the only solution to my problem would be the fobi pouch.. — Moira B. (posted on April 4, 1999)

You should check out Dr. Coloquen I think if you look up Karen
Fehr she can give you the number-e-mail her. It is not the
Fobi pouch but it may be better than that for you. Good luck

The Bilopancreatic Diversion with Duodenal Switch is
a viable option. My bariatric Surgeon in Saskatoon, Sask.
does this surgery. He has several VBG revisions under his
belt and he prefers this procedure. Also, he does this
as his preferred First Surgery Too.
his name is
Dr. Brian Colquhoun, Saskatoon, Sask.
There is also a support group of Canadians
on line at
<< [email protected] >>. A duodenal switch support
group at << [email protected] >> And of course
the MAIN LIST << [email protected] >>
Ossg stands for Obesity Surgery Support Group.
